Jersey want to help parents
protect their newborns and
toddlers from lead poisoning.
If you are pregnant or have
children aged 0-6, you can get
a FREE Wipe Out Lead NJ
testing kit to find out if your
home has dangerous levels of
lead paint dust.
Lead paint dust is so fine you
cant even see it. But it is the
most common source of
childhood lead poisoning.
You should test your home for
lead paint dust if you are:
Pregnant
Have children in the
home aged 0-6
Live in a home built
before 1978
Do not know when your
home was built

of the services provide by
DDD are case management,
guardianship, assistance to
parents in becoming legal
guardians of adult children,
family support, residential
services, day programs and
supported employment
services. Most of these
services are provided through
contracts with private
organizations or individual
contractors. Families can

The Division of
Developmental Disabilities
(DDD) arranges and
coordinates needed services to
eligible New Jersey residents
who have developmental
disabilities. DDDs mission is
to assist people with
developmental disabilities to
live as independently as
possible. A developmental
disability is defined as a
disability which begins during
the developmental years,
before the age of 22, and
which creates lifelong
conditions that affect the
individuals ability to live
without some assistance. The
identified developmental
disability must substantially
